++ What I've Done. ++
Last week just passed, unknowingly. Looking back, here's a summary.

Friday, had Cinematography project, luckily everything went smoothly. Everyone was drawing like crazy. Thank God.

Saturday, went to Bugis with ZR and bro. We brought quite a lot of clothings altogether. I got myself 2 shirts and a white pants, which I wanted for quite a while. Cos' black shirts doesn't go well with black pants, so might as well get one.

And Chinese New Year is coming, sweet. Money.

After that, met Zhenli and WangTing at Redhill. ZL wanted to get a pair of running shoes, so just of accompany him. Can't help him to choose, I'm no shoes expert. But I learnt some new stuff from the sales-girl, like gel-bounce, air-bounce, flexibility, that sort of stuff. Went to IKEA too, and had dinner before heading back.

Sunday, I had church, as always, and college-group after. It's fun, but I don't think I will be going everytime, cos' it ends like 4pm. Head to IMM, Mum wanted to get a new dish-rack and I wanted to spend my vouchers on Popular, as it's expiring real soon. God, talking about that. When I was about to make my payment, I tried borrowing the membership-card from the girl behind me.

Saves quite alot. Even a cent is money, not that I'm kiasu or anything.

"Sorry, can I please borrow the card? Just a while." She stared at me, like some blur shit. It's not like she will lose anything. Or is it that she's deaf or plain selfish. What the fuck.

On a side note, I managed to order the SNSD's second album, "OH!". Totally spazzing at the moment. There's a free random photocard that comes with it. Oh my gee. Sunny please! If my friends got it, I will be totally pissed. Maybe exchange or something. Hah.

Anyway, my assignments' deadlines are not far away, gotta work on it real fast.
Fighting!

If you're bent on eating at this place on weekends, one advise from me, come early. Even at 5.30pm, you still have to queue quite a while before there's seating.

The food is so-so. I had the Scallop Bake-rice with cheese, I wouldn't say it's bad, but the cheese is too watery. The salmon has a nice texture to it, while the scallop suck. Seriously. The beef brisket noodles isn't a bad choice, the beef slices are tender and juicy.

The service and the ambience are of equal low-standard. After you queued up to get a seat, you have to queue up again, this time to pay. The waitresses are slow in clearing up the tables, and they rather spend their time chit-chat in a corner.

Although the restaurant is strategically located outside Daiso, and just right in front of the escalator, where the human traffic is, the ambience is terrible. Children screaming and those people who are queuing, looking at you, mentally hurrying you to gobble down your food.

If you haven't try this restaurant yet, you should. It's about $10-15 per person. Inexpensive for a quick HK fix.

I first visited this restaurant when my aunt brought the few of us to dine. And after, I've been making occasional trips there to dine. There's probably more than 101 things that I could list down why I like the place.

The purpose of dining is to eat. Eat equals food. The food there, especially the charcoal-grilled delicacies and the sashimis, are really fresh. Air-flown everyday from the world-famous Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo, that's what they boast. The texture, chewiness, taste and the aroma, in one word, uncomparable.

The service there is superb too. They never fail to put on a smile, despite the huge crowd every night. The waitresses have good product knowledge, and I remember the manager even ask us for feedback. The scenery, if you know what I mean, is great too.

The price tag doesn't come cheap either. It's about $30 per person. But it's always the experience that matters.

This is, in no doubt, my favourite haunt for Japanese cuisine.

It's not my first time there. It used to be occupied by Palm Beach Restaurant. But the management is pretty much the same. It was my Grandmother's birthday, so it happened to be in this restaurant. Anyway it was just a short walk from my house. Thank God.

Although the ambience was plain, the food makes up for it. The food are served quickly, the seafood are fresh, and the e-fu noodles are the best. Their service was good too, the staff are attentive, and one of them happened to be my mum's friend.

It's about $25-$35 per person, so it's quite worth-while for the seafood.

In conclusion, it's quite an enjoyable experience there. I will definitely visit there again. Next year.

++ Clothings. Where got cheap one? ++
Went to Vivocity after church, supposedly to get some new clothings for the new year. We basically circled the whole darn mall, for at least 3 times, and entering those shops for at least 2 times, I swear, my feet hurts. I found out that buying clothings for myself is so difficult. shit.

Esprit, River Island, Topman, Bossini, Hang Ten, Giordano, Pull & Bear. WTF. Every single clothing I liked was over $70. Holy. I'm gonna try to source for cheaper clothings outside next week. Chinese New Year is around the darn edge, and I don't think I want to wear the same clothings for visits as last year's. At least, ZR brought home a belt.

My shopping list consists of 2 shirts, 1 shorts and 1 pants. Seriously got to hurry, and so many plans coming up this months, other than assignments.

God. Damn. It.

++ Church Camp && Class Reunion ++
"Doors closing. Next stop, Tampinese."

God. My legs are seriously aching, after travelling all the way from west to east. Bro, ZR and I had MOS Burger for lunch at Tampinese, before travelling again to Changi Village, where the youth of my church is actually having a camp. We thought we would just dropped by and see what we could help with.

Thank God, there are seats in the bus and so coincidentally, we saw two of our college group members in the same bus. We alighted after, and found ourselves lost in the middle of some rural place. We ended up walking 3 bus stop to the chalet. Great. They were having some games, so we joined them. It's just some captain ball and dog-and-bone organised by my cousin, Si Ming.

Then we went to the chalet, to help out preparing the BBQ food. Wrapping potatoes and corn with aluminium, chopping chicken wings and marinating fish slices. I actually feel like a chef of some sort. Played some games too before we ate something and left. Actually, before we left, they told us to pay the camp fees. $30.

My brother was like,
"I used the toilet 2 times and drink 1 cup of water. And you're telling me $30?"

lol.

Indeed we felt absurb in the beginning cos' we spent most of the time in kitchen, and it's like asking us to pay for working there. But after awhile, this thing just faded off. We took a cab and a train to HarbourFront, where I met with my old secondary school class-mates, at Vivocity. We had dinner together and it's been such a long time since I last saw them. We talked, of course there's so much to catch up. Some of them are going to the army soon. I pity them. But my turn will come soon. damn.

Some of them changed alot. I don't think I've changed in anyway. Bad thing.

We took some photographs before we left. And by the time I reached home, it's 12am. Church...was fun today anyway. But I'm not gonna talk about today, cos' I got school early tomorrow.

Weekdays again. shit.

++ Game Review: Dragon Age: Origins

XBOX360: Dragon Age: Origins (M18)
Violence & Nudity

Retail price: $58.00 (at Empire Games)

Gameplay: 9/10

Graphics: 6/10

Longevity: 10/10

Sound: 8/10

Overall: 8.1/10

I wonder when was the last time I sat for hours sitting in front of the television, with a controller in my hands, so captivated that I intended to skip dinner. Of course, this was just an exaggeration, with the government raising electricity rates as and when they want, hell. But this game, totally absorbs me into it's fantasy gameworld. The plot goes around, as you, as a Grey Warden going on a quest to kill the darkspawns, and the mighty Archdemon.

From Gamespot.com

"...so rich and involving that you are powerless to
resist its wiles and whims,
so touching and triumphant that your mind and heart
will be moved."

Although the graphics is fairly disappointing, the story plot is more than enough to "wow" you. You will experience six different kinds of origin stories, from a Dalish elf to a human rogue. Dude, you can even choose up to 12 different specialisations. Holy. This game is set to make you seated for hours.

And with a possible 50-hours gameplay, this game is definitely worth your bucks.

I shaldn't continue anymore, but if you wish you to find out more about the game. What's better than buying the game itself?

Phew, finally went down to Suntec with Zhi Rong, after the seller replied. It took him nearly 3 weeks to confirm and reply anyway. Long. Long. Long.

And now it's on my newly-painted wall! Oh yeah! It matches so beautifully with the wall. We checked the HMV at CityLink later on, and found out that they don't sell SNSD albums. wtf. How is this even possible?

Oh yeah. By the way, school started again yesterday.

No...Wait, when did school even stop?

Even during our holidays, there are so many assignments piling up for us to clear. Drawing, modelling, texturing, lighting. God.

2. Mummies Exibition with Melissa, Theresa and Hao.
3. Outing with old friends.
4. Grandmother's birthday.
5. IKEA with Wang Ting.

++ Paint paint paint, what a pain! ++
After 3 days of intense sweating and gooey paint-smelling substances, we finally managed to paint the living room and two rooms. Great, now there's a new fill, as well as "feel" to my house. No more boring greenish-bluish walls. Now it's barley white, latte and light blue. Sweet!

Oh God, and I'm having so little sleep this few days.

New Year - Slept at 4am. Theresa, Melissa and Hao came to celebrate with us. We actually have a BBQ dinner at our house with their family earlier. Their little brother made a mess. Heh. They went home, took a bath, then came back again. Guitar Hero until 2am. And chatted until 4am. Supposedly to meet for breakfast. But everyone can't wake up.

Yesterday, 1.2, watched Lord of the Rings until 2am. God. Woke up with slight fever and bad flu. And we were supposed to meet the three again for Escape Theme Park. Oh man. I struggled so hard, dragged myself off bed, with tissues stuffed on my nose. But thank God, when I got out of house, I got this sudden surge of energy. Phew.

We took the train to Pasir Ris, it rained, but luckily it stopped when we reached there. Pirate ship, Ferris wheel, Kite flyer, Haunted House, Roller Coaster..lunch. Melissa and Hao really can scream, man. My eardrums nearly went boomed. Pirate ship. She dug her nails into me, literally, did she even bit me? I don't know, but she's brave enough to sit at the far end with me. But every one had fun, that's for sure. Did I mention I met Jian Xiang there? He's with his friends, but I went over and talked to him. Hah. It's a small world, tiny one indeed.

Oh, we went cycling after. Brother finally remembers how to cycle on 2 wheels. Thank God. We saw so many interesting sights, like a dead komodo dragon on the beach, and horses' poop. Theresa brought us to the playground too. Nostalgia. I really enjoyed our small talks while riding, talking about China. Haha. We even planned to go Taiwan together this year.

She feels like watching airplanes, so we went to Changi Airport. Everyone was sweating in the taxi, but the chatty driver says sweating is healthy. Hah. The moment I stepped into the airport, I feel like travelling. damn. S.E.O.U.L! We went to the new budget terminal to explore, we alighted from the bus, after 5 minutes, we board the same bus back. Why? I could count all the shops there with my 10 fingers.

Brought them to Soup Restaurant for dinner, since they haven't been there. Wasn't really expensive. It's about $14 each. But the chrysanthemum tea is $2! WOAH. We had desserts too, at Swensen's, had the Earthquake. Melissa and her salt. She was pouring salt into everyone's drink and Hao was super hyperactive. lol. I should bring them to eat more great food next time. Anyway, life is all about eating and playing. Isn't it?

We went home at about 10.30pm. Got scolding from mum, cos' I was supposed to buy her dinner at 9.30pm. I think I promised her. Did I? And I was supposed to help with the painting today. But I, uhh, sort of "escape".

And damn, school's starting tomorrow. I remembered I always cried the day before school starts when I'm in Primary school. I know. What a cry-baby.

Oh my God, I think we should meet again somedays. Next week? Mummies exibition at the museum!

Weehee! Fighting!
