++ Cycling at East Coast Park!! ++
After church, 41 youths gather, all ready to conquer the bicycle tracks. We took a bus over to East Coast Park, we got a slight briefing, and off we go! Thank God for the Sunny weather. Sunny is great. ^^

The cycling route is about 20 kilometers if I'm not wrong. For my entire life up until now, I've not cycle for such a long distance. It's a killer, and my legs are damn burnt-out now. But of course, during the process, we came across some fun stuff, people fall and injured themselves, I'm one of them.

Tried to get down the bike to help one of my "fallen" group mates, ended up being banged by a bicycle from behind. Alright nevermind, that kid even denies it. What the fuck. He's a real troublemaker and he talks so much. What an imbecile. No thanks, only injuries in return. Not to mention, I've had hell when I'm bathing.

Enough of this shit, after the cycling, we had a BBQ dinner! Yeah. Had some games, photos, in short, this is a haven, cold drinks. I swear it's even better than drugs after an exercise, long exercise. Swweeet.

Some hardworking people. I'm obviously slacking.

At 8+(?), we took the bus ride back to the church. Thankfully, Grace's parents took us 4 home. Paul and ZR are with us too. ^^

Fun days, long hours, tiring. What's the next activity? Oh yes, Guitar Hero gathering at my house.

++ Birthday Treats ++
Keep the fun going!

*Baladeng* New MSN message. 5pm, Jurong Point.. Candice's Birthday.

So I met them at Jurong Point, got some snacks, I'm not sure whether "got" is the correct word, cos' I think "smuggled" is a better one. But who cares? I don't.

Initially, they told me the name of the movie we are watching, but I don't recall any. But then I realised. "All's well ends well too 2010" sounds similar to some Shakespear's stuff. Ohh. Before that, we had some cake. Actually it's also YanTeng's belated birthday.

After movie, Yeun Yian and Daren went off early, so the rest went for dinner at Pizza Hut. But the 7 of us, none ordered Pizza. Ironic. But who say we have to eat Pizza at Pizza Hut?

Reached home at about 10.30pm? Got so damn tired. Meeting ZR the next day to buy stuff at IMM.

Target:
XBOX360: Band Hero
Router

Dinner later at Toa Payoh with cousins and relatives. Weehayy! ^^

++ Assignments Done = Chill-Oouuttt!! ++
Hell yeah, so I threw in the last assignment, which is a drawing portfolio. So school's finished, and of course, it's time to chill out!

Having so much fun with friends the last few days. We went to Benny's house for Wii, everyone's crazy on the remote, even now, my arm is aching from the damn vigorous exercise. Haha. Had dinner at Pizza Hut/KFC.

Keep the fun going! Went to Jian Xiang's house the next day, for mahjong and cards. It's totally like a gambling den. And I finally learnt the correct way of playing mahjong, though I won only once, it's totally worth the time. Had dinner at some cheapskate Tze-Char stall, the food portions were so little. But everyone had fun, Zhenli kindly offer to "tank"(term from Daren) most of the bill, cos' he actually won a lot from the gambling. Wahaha.

Two days of fun ain't enough. I'm planning to organise another gathering at my house, probably next week or so. Guitar Hero!! Woohoo!

And East Coast Park with church on Sunday. Can't wait for it! ^^

++ CableTV, New Broadband and...More! ++
Alright, so it's a really busy weekend for me. Let's see what I've done,

On Saturday, we went to JiaJia's house at Holland Village, well not "at", but it's more of a "near", just a road across, and there it is, the mini-Holland.

We reached there at about 2.30pm, had a light lunch there, got bored pretty quickly, cos' that kid was just so stuck on the computer, I think he said less than 5 sentences in 2 hours. Damn bored, were the 3 of us. So we decided to get something to consume at the nearby Cold Storage, seriously I so wish there's one at my doorstep, it's just about a 3-minute walk.

Talking about that area, there's so many wierdo, one telling us to throw away our paperbags, the way she told us, is just...wierd. Then, over at one corner, there's some people shouting at one another, causing a huge commotion, everyone was standing there watching like some theatre.

So that was probably how I spent the day.

Sunday was slightly interesting. After church and my duties, went to, if I'm not wrong, Grandma's cousin's house at Chinatown. It's great to see her in such an active state, able to jump around and tell jokes. I wish we could visit her more often. In the evening, went to Uncle's house at Serangoon, waited for my other 2 relatives, for like a damn 30 minutes. Total waste of my time.

And Oh! Did I mention I got myself CableTV too? Actually it's a CNY bundle from Starhub, it basically consists of the CableTV, broadband, phone line, and some useless wireless stuff. I managed to set-up the CableTV, but I need an extra adaptor for the modem, will buy if I got time.

CableTV which means KBS! Woohoo, we also add-on a HongKong channel, as my family likes to watch HK dramas, there's also Animal Planet, Discovery, FOX, Asian Food Channel, National Geographic, in total it's about 30+. Nice!

Oh ya, so unfortunately, got the HyoYeon photocard, I so wish I got a Sunny one, now looking for exchange, or maybe buying it.

Anyway, printing and passing up my last assignment of Year 2 tomorrow. Fighting! ^^

++ 72 Tenants of Prosperity!! ++
What a great day is today.

Yesterday is History,
Tomorrow is Mystery,
Today is a Gift,
that's why it is called, the Present.

Love this quote, from KungFu Panda. What's more, Sunny talked about this in her radio shows, with her powderful Engrish.^^

Passed up my animation piece, watched a movie, dinner with my church friends. What a packed day, is today! We had Marche, ordered a tonne of food, we shared, we tried everything. The food is great, and the girl at the reception counter is just so beautiful.

Oi, Thomas Chan! What are you thinking? Sunny, Sunny, oh yes, Sunny.

After dinner, we had Starbucks. Green Tea Cream again! Oh yesh! Thanks to Grace Wan for treating us drinks. We talked until 10pm, before heading back home. And we had supper again, the "3 Musketeers"(Wahaha!), although I'm damn full, but I still ate a little. Zhi Rong paid for the food, and bro paid for the drink. Woohoo! This week is just so filled with freebies. Haha.^^

Anyway, the movie, yes.

This is definitely the movie for Chinese New Year. It's so humorous at some point, you would laugh until your stomach aches. And it's quite lame, but it is that, that makes it funny. I would say that this movie is not suitable for extremely young kids, as it contains some sexual reference and at some parts, my nose nearly bleeds. The bad thing about this movie, is that it is dubbed, and some of the translations are wrong. But still, a great movie!^^

++ Food Review: Tonkichi (Isetan Scotts) ++

Ambience/Setting - 7.3

When it comes to pork cutlets, most chefs would hide slabs of pork under those layers of cheap batter. This totally spoils the taste, but in Tonkichi, they don't. Their batter enhances the taste, it's light and crispy and you won't feel weary of eating it.

This is my second time visiting Tonkichi, the first was at Suntec, and both were treated by Aunt Laoshu. I feel so blessed.^^

So back to topic:
I ordered the Hire Tonkatsu with oysters set, as I wanted to try something new, the last I had was Premium Pork Loin set, if I could remembered it correctly. In both cases, the pork cutlet was damn tender and juicy, with just the right amount of oil content. There's nothing special about the oysters, or is it I can' tell. I'm not an oyster-lover, but one thing that I could tell - the oysters they use are huge and juicy, they literally explode in your mouth. My cousins ordered different dishes each, I didn't get to try all, but I had a prawn fritter. As expected, it's so damn good.

In Tonkichi, you get free flow of shredded-lettuce "to wash down any oleaginous feelings from an overkill of deep fried foods." And the salad topping was great. Their sauces were top-grade, unlike some other restaurants which tried to emulate authentic Japanese sauces.

This is a must-go for all Japanese food lovers, not to mention the prices are quite reasonable too. I will definitely visit Tonkichi again, maybe for the desserts.^^

++ Percy Jackson, New Kid in the Block ++
Not an ordinary one, yo~

He's a half-human, half-god, damn you, and somemore, the kid of Poseidon, God of the Waters. Don't get cheated by his good looks, he's gonna kick you in the ass with his dang cool trident. Not to mention, he's got a Greek god as back-up. How cool, damn. I so wish my mum was Artemis, man.

So I watched this movie early in the morning, yeah, 10am, with Aunt Laoshu, Susan, Esther, Grace and my brother. Quite a great movie, I always love this kind of movie since young, going on a quest, an adventure, you know, collecting stuff, fighting demons and stuff. And I'm always interested in Greek mythology and stuff.

Deities, cyclopes, titans, gods. But Jesus Christ probably pwns all of them. But heck, that's my interest, no way I'm bowing down to a stone statue. Talking about stone statue, Medusa! She was in the movie, sexy as hell, the snakes, I mean.

Come on, you know you want to see, but you don't. Just a sneak? The next moment you knew it, you became a god-damn statue.

After the movie, went for an awesome lunch at Tonkichi. Aunt Laoshu treating again! Thanks so much! Brought Esther back, Grace came for Guitar Hero, so unfortunately, my stupid XBOX360 got the "Red Ring of Death" today. Gotta send it for repairs soon.

Hooh! Great day, had lots of fun. Will definitely be looking forward towards the next trip.

By the way, Hollywood is the gateway to Hell, how interesting.

++ 恭喜发财, 红包拿来。 ++
每年农历新年,都是好年,拿钱的好日子。

Sorry, but I got to emphasize so much on how fast time flies. Another year just passed by, and I'm basically another year older.

So much visiting to do this few days, busy, busy and busy. And with animation assignment. woah.

Sunday, we had a celebration at church, after that, we met up with the other relatives like my dear grandma, aunt, and cousins. We had lunch at Jack's Place, Black Pepper Steaks are so loved. A great thanks to my Laoshu Aunt for treating everyone. Treating about 18 people wasn't an easy feat. Must find some time to treat her back.^^

After lunch, we went to Siming's house, where we chilled-out, played games, like "BANG!"(ownage game) and had snacks. We visited my mum's aunt too, tried to flag a taxi there. Gave up in the end, and took the train down. Damn difficult to flag a taxi during CNY. Went to Grandma house, yada yada.

Today, went for visiting once again. Supposedly to visit JiaJia, but he got a fever and had to be hospitalised. May he get well soon.

Anyway, got to sleep early, movie tomorrow at 9.45am! Woah hooh! Damn early! But I know I can wake up. Fighting!

++ FYP Screening ++
Went to collect my sketchbook at school this afternoon. Thanks to Zhenli, I managed to get it back, if not I'm seriously screwed, since I got quite a number of drawings in it that I want to include in my drawing portfolio.

Anyway, since I'm there, I decided to check out this semester's Final Year Project showcase. The standard is lower than last semester's, but it's no doubt good, well, for the second half who presented.

When I was watching their works, I asked myself.
Can I achieved that standard?

I hope so.

Anyway, Chinese New Year is getting so damn near. Fighting!

Anyway had an early re-union dinner today, and I think we will be having another this Sunday. omg. CNY = Ang Pao = Money.

Time flies damn fast. In another blink of an eye, I would be married, and it would be my turn to give out ang pao already. Maybe I shouldn't get married. For ang pao? What the hell am I thinking.

And I brought a hair dye today!! And the instructions look so absolutely darn confusing. damn. But I will figure it somehow, I hope.

++ Drawing Trip at BodyWorlds ++
Drawing trip again! I hope we will have more trips of this kind in the future, it's fun, and you know it.

So today, we had another outing at Science Centre. We even had to attend a briefing before entering the exhibition. One of the issues covered in this briefing, was to respect the exhibits. This is really important, donors gave their body for the sake of science, not for insult.

People entering the exhibit, with nasty comments, like gross, disgusting, I even heard a woman saying how ugly the person is. damn. Totally zero respect. Worse still, noisy kids, shouting as if they were in the market.

Talking about them, before we went into the exhibition, some of us had breakfast at Mac, those arrogant kids at Bukit Panjang Primary. When we entered, the whole place was flooded with them, their litter was everywhere. They were basically tearing the whole room down. We tried to find a seat at the back, and a group of bastards were shouting, "Sorry, no seats!" Imbeciles, who don't learn at young. I have eyes, I can see seats behind, so please just fuck off.

So, back to topic, nothing new to me, since I visited the exhibition before. Had lunch at Pepper Lunch, and went back to Science Centre for another visit later on, although many can't make it, only 7 of us went back. Bringing back those memories, but no Mirror Maze? Damn! That's the best exhibit.

Definitely had lots of fun, class outing soon please!

Assignments due really soon.

Cinematography - 9.2
Acting Skit - 9.2
MRTL - 12.2
3DCA - 19.2(I think)
Portfolio, Demoreel...

Acting Rehearsal completed.

Next Tuesday is the real thing. Hope everything goes well.

Today's rehearsal was fun, well, tiring too. Started at around 10am and ended 7 hours later. Had a short Guitar Hero session too.^^

Heard that we are going for BodyWorlds at Science Center. Another drawing trip, though not as exciting, cos' I just went for the same exhibition last year. But I bet we will have lots of fun.

Gotta shop for some Chinese New Year goods later.

Fighting!

++ Drawing Trip to Zoo ++
Yes! Class outing! I wondered when's the last time we had events like this.

Today was an enjoyable day, and a tiring one indeed. Had GEMS presentation early in the morning, but it's hilarious. Then we met at the foyer, where everyone took the school bus to the zoo. What? School bus? Hell yes!

We seperated from each other after we stepped in. The usual, except Tong Nan was with the girls. Hah. I bet they had great fun with an excellent entertainer. While, with me, were Daren, Cheong Ghim, Benny, ZhenLi and Jian Xiang. We went round the zoo, drawing different animals, experiencing different kind of stuff, and even what we actually aren't supposed to see.

I will just name two examples:

1. At the white tigers, the male, the first thing he got up from his sleep, got over the tigress, and do "that". You know? "That"? "This"? Same meaning, yo.

2. Snakes. Huge one, pooped right in front of us. I even video-ed it down. hah. You are caught on tape.

Oh! We even went for the animal show. Wait did I said "Oh!"?

Oh oh oh oh! Oppareul sarangae! (Sorry, random.)

The show definitely gave me a nostalgic feeling. I remembered I loved going to the zoo when I was young, but so much had changed. But one thing, confirm, never-changing, the smell of animal poop.

We had KFC for lunch, everyone was hungry, I bet, everyone gobbled. This place was heaven, is heaven, and will be the heaven of the zoo. Only the price remains the same. Outside KFC, one packet of potato chips cost $3, one bottle of cola costs $3. Holy mum. I didn't even want to buy, I bet it's just there to scam ang-mohs.

Anyway, the whole thing was fun, and I got home. Yay, end of story.
