"Doors closing. Next stop, Tampinese."
God. My legs are seriously aching, after travelling all the way from west to east. Bro, ZR and I had MOS Burger for lunch at Tampinese, before travelling again to Changi Village, where the youth of my church is actually having a camp. We thought we would just dropped by and see what we could help with.
Thank God, there are seats in the bus and so coincidentally, we saw two of our college group members in the same bus. We alighted after, and found ourselves lost in the middle of some rural place. We ended up walking 3 bus stop to the chalet. Great. They were having some games, so we joined them. It's just some captain ball and dog-and-bone organised by my cousin, Si Ming.
Then we went to the chalet, to help out preparing the BBQ food. Wrapping potatoes and corn with aluminium, chopping chicken wings and marinating fish slices. I actually feel like a chef of some sort. Played some games too before we ate something and left. Actually, before we left, they told us to pay the camp fees. $30.
My brother was like,
"I used the toilet 2 times and drink 1 cup of water. And you're telling me $30?"
lol.
Indeed we felt absurb in the beginning cos' we spent most of the time in kitchen, and it's like asking us to pay for working there. But after awhile, this thing just faded off. We took a cab and a train to HarbourFront, where I met with my old secondary school class-mates, at Vivocity. We had dinner together and it's been such a long time since I last saw them. We talked, of course there's so much to catch up. Some of them are going to the army soon. I pity them. But my turn will come soon. damn.
Some of them changed alot. I don't think I've changed in anyway. Bad thing.
We took some photographs before we left. And by the time I reached home, it's 12am. Church...was fun today anyway. But I'm not gonna talk about today, cos' I got school early tomorrow.
Weekdays again. shit.
