There aren't many Korean restaurants here in Singapore, not to even mention - good ones. With the new set meal promotion($7.90) and since I longed for Korean food, I decided to put my bucks on this. If cheap food means bad food, which that is the case, I rather not have it.
I ordered Jajangmyun (Korean black bean paste noodles) and I'd say, it's a huge disappointment. Number one, the sauce is done incorrectly, and number two, the noodles are tough. My friend ordered Kimchi noodles, and there's even a piece of plastic in it. The soup is too sour, the base is wrong, there's no taste of kimchi in it. In short, the dish is screwed-up.
Service-wise and ambience-wise, I'll say they put pretty much effort in it. There are quite an amount of decorations, which gives a good ambience for eating. There's even a television playing Korean music video. Good. But when it comes to eating, and enjoying the food, the television serves as a distraction. Male workers would stare at the television, I guess you would know the reason. Not good. Not good.
This trip proved to be dissapointing, but I shall give it a second chance. Maybe next time, I shall try the BBQ beef.
