++ Food for Thought: Taking for Granted. ++
Last night, I was reading about William A. Ward, author of Fountains of Faith, one of America's most quoted writers of inspirational maxims and one of his famous quotes struck me greatly: God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say "thank you?"
Indeed nowadays, human beings have forgotten how to give thanks. The busy and hectic lifes have slowly transformed us to take the things around us for granted. Our houses, jobs, and even relationships, stop and think, do you take all of these for granted? Have you ever stopped to thank that your body is moving, that your mind is thinking, or that your eyes are reading this sentence right now? Do you know? There are so many people out there who do not have a roof over their heads and not enough food to eat, and I still wonder, why do people complain about how small is their apartment or what's for dinner. As a christian, I am ashamed to say that I still do that today, complaining about my work, the blemishes on my body and even the same Ol'fried fish my mother is cooking for dinner. But what is this compared to those children suffering in other parts of the world?
People tend to start cherishing things only when they know that it is going to slip off from their hands. And we all know that it is too late by then. Is it a need for them to be gone until we noticed how big it would have affected our lifes?
Give thanks not only before meal-times, but also when you wake up in the morning and hear the birds sing, when you looked into the mirror and see God's creation, when you walk to school or when you drive to work, when you meet your friends or your loved ones. It all comes down to this simple action.
So my friends, why not start giving thanks and start cherishing those things you have taken them for granted today? Give thanks to your families, your friends, give them little gifts now and then, or it might be as simple as pinning up a "Thank-you Mum" note on the fridge or giving a pat on your friend's back. Give them a smile, be a blessing to someone's life, and you would be surprised how your little actions would brightened up their day.
Life is a gift. Never take it for granted. - Sasha AzavedoMay the good Lord bless you.

I promise I'll update this blog after I finish this FYP shit up.
What's left is to add the darn audio,
render the god-damn clip and burn it.
Pass it up to MDA, and it's done.
Simple as ABC. (If only.)
