++ Ding Dong, Here comes the Death Bell. ++

The top 30 students in Woo-Sung High School face death as they are brutally murdered one by one. A voice warns them that they'll all be killed unless they can answer who is the murderer and why he is killing them.
A sequel to 2008's Death Bell, the second installation is good as a "stand-alone" movie, as there is little, if not, no linkage with the predecessor. Knowing that normally sequels doesn't go as well, (maybe that is why) Director Yoo Sun-Dong recruited Park Ji-Yeon of popular girl's group T-ara to play the role of the main lead, Lee Se-Heui, also the step-sister of Tae-Yeon, a high schooler and swimmer who was found dead in a pool two years ago.
Expect no heart-attack moments, for this flick doesn't really falls under the horror category, but more of the slasher-thriller type, for example- box office hit "Saw". Truthfully, this film is not clear-cut enough, the character development is in a mess, and I don't even know who's the main character until nearing the end. Again, there is totally no anticipation nor surprise-factor at all, scenes are boring and predictable, and what make it worse are the lifeless and uninteresting characters - Yoon Si-Yoon and acting-veteran Kim Soo-Ro are major dissapointments.
P.S.- I've seen reviews that both Death Bell films hold the similar plot and killing methods, just with different casts. So if you would to watch either one, don't waste your time on watching another.
